moved out of in July 2005. After trying unsuccessfully to rent the
property for over a year, I turned to Red Door Company to help out.
They came through and suggested some changes and minor improvements
(which took about 3 weekends to perform) and told me that I could
rent the place for $300 more than my asking price. Within a couple
of weeks of turning the property over to Red Door Company, they had
it rented at the new asking price. In addition, I would note that since Red Door Company took over, there have been a couple of repair issues (it is an old house!). In each case, I received an alert right away explaining the issue and informing me before sending over repairmen. In each case (major plumbing issue and damaged attic vents), the repair service was very reasonably priced and very fast. Although I have been kept informed of any issues that may arise with rent or maintenance, everything was taken care of without my involvement. It's a very worry-free way to own investment property." |
